Technology Industries of Finland is the biggest industrial organisation in Finland. It has about 1800 members representing five branches: electronics and the electrotechnical industry, mechanical engineering, metals industry, information technology and consulting & engineering.

Technology Industries correspond to 75 % of the private research and development funding in Finland and 50 % of total Finnish exports. There are 280 000 directly employed in the sector and the total employment effect is 700 000 equalling 30 % of the Finnish workforce. The mission of the Federation is to build growth and success. A competitive technology industry is the basis for growth of Finnish economy, employment and welfare.
