Westinghouse Electric Sweden AB represents both Sweden and Finland. We are about 1,000 employees and all business areas are represented in the Nordic region, as well as one of Westinghouse's three nuclear fuel fabrication plants.

Historically, Westinghouse has been part of Nordic nuclear history for as long as it has existed. What was once Asea Atom, which designed and built nine boiling water reactors (BWR) in Sweden and two in Finland (Olkiluoto 1&2), is since year 2000 - Westinghouse Electric Sweden AB. The three pressurized water reactors (PWR) built at Ringhals in Sweden are Westinghouse reactors. All together Westinghouse is behind 14 reactors in the Nordic region, eight of which are still in operation. The company has been supplying fuel from the manufacturing plant in Sweden and all kind of plant services to these sites throughout the years. In addition to our BWR and PWR knowledge and capabilities, we have also supplied VVER fuel to reactors in Europe for about 20 years.

With our portfolio and great presence in the Nordics, we believe we are a local full scope nuclear supplier.
